It's amazing that so few people seem to remember how "unstoppable" AOL was leading up to the merger. At the time, anyone who predicted that AOL might fail was branded an idiot (to put it mildly). Now, Facebook is the big kid on the block and I'm reminded of the saying, "the bigger they are, the harder they fall."
